One Arrested, Three At-Large After Attempted Home Invasion

(PLTM) - Police Information Office - Press Release - Monday, December 2, 2024

Shortly after 3 pm this afternoon (Monday, December 2, 2024), the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) received a report of a home invasion in the Cocodella area. Upon responding to the scene, police engaged the suspects, who were reported to be armed. Shots were fired during the confrontation.

One suspect was taken into custody and remains at the Road Town Police Station for questioning. Three suspects escaped on foot, including one who sustained injuries during the incident. Despite extensive searches of the area, the outstanding suspects have not been located. Enquiries are ongoing.

The RVIPF urges members of the public with any information regarding this incident or the suspects to confidentially contact Crime Stoppers at 800-8477(TIPS) or overseas at (284) 800-8477 or the RVIPF Intelligence Unit at 368-9339.
